Had the chance to look over the ruined church of St Martins this afternoon, passed through the area recently and noticed someone has been doing quite a bit of clearence work and taking up the surrounding scrub and brambles....for as long as I can remember the ruins have been almost invisible due to the overgrowth and climbing ivy so nice to see what has been hidden for so long!!

The pics....

Thats Beautiful N.B! A Hairy Church! Seriously though, I have been to this Church at Shotesham and its Gawjus!:)

Some really nice shots here, Norfolkbloke. I would like to go there sometimes. Is there a lot of nettles around ?

Thanks for the comments Blackshuck (had a feeling you'd seen this one before!!) and Labb!!

To answer your question Labb, I didn't see any nettles today, looks like the place had recently been cleared and strimmed of all immediate scrub around the ruins....they'll probably be coming up next summer though!!
