It was a nice day today so thought I'd take a wander and check out the state of a couple of churches that appear quite regularly here.
The first was St. Mary's at Mundon, Near Maldon in Essex.
The church is undergoing renovation and is almost completely surrounded by corrugated iron but it was nice to see that someone cares enough to try and save this lovely old church.

As you can see, there's quite a lot of work going on!
I'll probably leave it a few months and then go have another look-see, to see how things progress.
