St michaels church..norfolk

This small beautiful church of st michael sis set in the village of sco ruston just outside coltishall.struggling to actually find any history on this place..a three bay medieval church.which served the local parish..the roof was still in tact during the 1970's..but that has long gone now.and the flint tower has been gone for many years.after fighting through brambles and nettles to get in here (why I don't do these places in the winter I don't know) the church is hardly visible from the outside due to the amount of ivy growing around it.it was hard to get too many shots in here because not a lot is visible.but did my best with what is left.

good that. just up the road near old airbase is the memorial stone dedicated to fallen pilots. the residents do a top job maintaining it.
