B1354 – edgefield road to limekiln lane

This is on the main road next to a part derelict farm, the old cattle sheds are derelict.
You get into the overgrown grounds of the church through a newley fitted wooden gate then fight your way through to get to it, would suggest going in autumn really.

The tower was padlocked up – should have done research into it to get the key but hind sight is good hey!

It was in 1883 when this church was deemed in poor condition and to be demolished. There are only 6 octagonal church towers in Norfolk - the tower was restored in 1981 (my birth year)

there was quite a few graves at this church but sadly all of the interesting ones were waist deep in nettles and put me right off diving in

Update on this, we went yesterday and the churchyard is now clear and easily accessible. Love a church ruin.
