My fav genre this, bit of industrial.

Out exploring and looking for somewhere new, as you do. Came accross the red beacon to us explorers which is the 'Security Patrol this site' signs. It was a lovely day and I parked up and went in for a wonder.
All shot with the Canon 50mm 1.8 since I've just got it. Novelty and all

This joinery made and restored all types of wood products and also specialised in French Polishing.
They must of closed some time in 2007 where they relocated to Yorkshire. Just found the link below...looks like they are doing quite well for themselves.

Wondered round for a while thinking I'd never get in, but just goes to show, prod about in the right places and you may find a nice easy entry. Pretty stripped of course, but nice to have been everywhere.

I must admit Scrub2000 that thi is also my favourite genre too, especially joinery as i started my working life as a bench joiner, so in my blood.

Love the pictures and it looks like i shall be on ebay having a look for a Canon 50mm f1.8 also

Very nice.

Tis a cracking lens, recommended by Underworld and a few others on here from the South West region. The pictures from it are very impressive. You will not be dissapointed with the lens that's for sure.

Takes a little getting used to, since its fairly close for Urbex work IMO where I think a nice wide angle is very handy.

Still for detail, the 50mm is superb, and also the only lens I can afford at the moment
