A former Fertiliser Mill built between 1851-53 ,origionally the site for the first Superphosphate factory ,Nowadays at least 70% of the site has long gone although the remains of the old loading dock can be seen from the footpath that now takes you alongside the picturesque bank of the river that the barges use to travel along suppling the mill .A £20million plan to redevelope the 12 acre site has started and will provide 176 new homes ,the grade 2 listed Mill will become a business centre and provide 20 offices and workshop spaces and the remaining space will be coverted into 3 shops a cafe and apartments.

Thanks for looking :)
