I went out this morning to play with my new toy, a Fuji s1000fd, just driving around taking random photos on a warm sunny morning, great fun. :)

On to RAF Southrop (just up the road)

On the way home I stopped of at RAF Chedworth, despite exploring this site many times I had not seen this before, just over the road from the Battle HQ, any ideas? no doorway,steps ect.

Back on the road again, one last stop at Dowdswell churchyard, got a shot of the gamekeepers gravestone,
notice the old flintlocks

Then back home for eggs and bacon, perfect!
 
Cool pics, ricasso...and some interesting subjects too. The waterwheel and churchyard carvings are delightful and great to see the airfields of course! :mrgreen:
The building you asked about...going by the first pic I immediately thought of overground blast shelter but I'm not sure now I've seen the second photo. :confused:
 
I Know where your coming from on that one Foxy, unfortunately the scale doesn't show too well,its only about 10 feet across in any direction,its weird because there is no doorway or steps to access it?
I Was stood on top of the wall which was approx 3/4 feet tall.:confused:

sorry, thats supposed to read '3 to 4 feet tall' not three quarters feet tall, im confusing meself now!
