I drove past this place whilst i was lost down a narrow country road about 2 months ago, it looked at a glance to be quite a large site. I returned a couple of weeks later (today) to see if there was anything interesting. It looks like the site closed in January 1993 from the dates on papaerwork scattered in the site office. It was a very cold and dull day today so the pictures are not the best and there are only a few as it was freezing cold, my warm car was begging me to return! The Pikeys have been in and stripped all the copper wire and even dug up the ground to a depth of 2ft in places to get to the wiring.:(
