HEllo all, haven't posted in a little while, so i thought i would put this little gem up to let you know i'm still out there
Well, took an early moring start with a loaded with cold dave and after a little doubt we persuaded ourselves that yes, we WERE going to make the journey and after a lucozade and mars bar breakfast we were away.
First stop in actually, surprisingly good weather, was the beautiful bailley mill.
Set up my first shot and my shiny new 400d says................
no cf card.
devistated.
:arghh: So, the pics that follow are from a camera phone...
Unfortuatly to add to the fail of earlier, access was denied to us, lots of fresh sawdust and shiny screws lying around so we put this to bed for another time (Hints and tips appreciated for the NEXT trip...) and went on the relativly short distance to fletchers.
Again, not dissapointed!!
I had read a few reports on this place as its something i've always wanted to see... and we slipped on in to darkness.
My little cameraphone was next to useless in the dark but i managed to get a few pics, i love the colours we found lying about the place!!!
So, just a mini report this time but a definate prelude to another visit..... fletchers is never quiet, its almost like you expect the lights to turn on and everyone to turn up for their shift, its like time has stood still in that place!!!
We also paid a quick visit to KG Sewell's old offices on the way back, but i'll let dave tell you all about that...........
