The Hidden Mill... June 2016
As part of a UK wide road trip tour, it was time to take a look at the mill that nature has taken over. Filled with original machinery, it was a shame to see that everything has been left there rather than preserved or transferred to a local museum.
The mills have stood abandoned since November 1980.
Even though when I visited this location it was boiling hot and really sunny outside, inside was cool and pitch black where the nature has grown covering all windows and doors.
It's a shame to notice that some things have been removed based on other reports and also the collapse of one building at a nearby linked location. It's probably only a matter of time until this one ends up in the same way.
As always, thanks for looking!
