Up bright and early last sunday for a trip down to eastleigh.
Spent a couple of hours there and then discovered when we got home that we missed a whole 2 storey building out. The whole place has been proper trashed.
Wanted to get into the mansion but after wandering around the only way i could find in was through a 3rd floor window so when i go back to see the rest will have a good go at getting in.
Had a laugh again as dazza cut his finger jumping out of a window to escape a bloke who turned out to be a stoned dog walker haha and what was even better was that the local co op charged him £3 for plasters.
Anyway on with the pictures.

Makes me sad to see The Mount in such a state! Reckon I was one of the first to discover and explore it back in 2008, and for a while was conversing with local preservation officer since the mansion is locally listed. Have kept meaning to check whether the developers who bought the site made it thru' the recession since naff all has happened on the site apart from it getting ever more mullered. When I last visited in late 2009 that fire escape was the only way into the mansion, but the bottom of the escape was still there so if you could make it to the balcony you were up and in (which I did).

Have a video from a 2008 visit ... [nomedia]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GBIextOwp8[/nomedia] ... when the mansion still had a chance!

Looks a good explore just a shame it has been trashed.

Thanks for sharing :)
