Tried this place a few months ago but was beaten by the shear amount of nettles and brambles. Up overlooking the main road in a rural Dorset village, empty for at least a decade...I wore a few layers to keep the brambles out and had one hell of a job getting near the place! Every single roof tile was off and laying around the perimeter of the place which meant my footsteps were very noisy!! The nearby road though had enough traffic to cover me as there are occupied houses on either side. Try as I might can't find any history apart from an old advertisement board for redevelopment of the site....Looks to have been a grand old house, I loved the front porch...
