Exploration of the Lunezy slaughterhouse: Olivier stumbled upon it a few days before, and since we could not find any information about it we decided to go and see by ourselves…
Built around a traditionnal farm, the site progressively grew into a real meat factory and contains all the elements of the production chain: intensive piggery, abattoir, and even a garage to repair the distribution trucks.

One of the most interesting parts of the visit was the long piggery, the smell of which confirms its former use. Nature started to claim the building back, especially in the few areas where a roof collapse lets some sunlight in.
The cherry on the cake was the water tower! We won’t however disclose anything about the pyrotechnic experiments we lead in there.
