Having stumbled upon this site I had to take a closer look, This in parts is a live site, with secca, Although excavations have stopped it is now being back filled. I managed to gain access to a part of the site that is no longer used.
My first solo visit was nice and relaxed, the second was more or less a non event, had to make a hasty retreat, must have got spotted.

On with the Photos

Cheers for.the comments and yes you should go and have a look Rubex, you'll enjoy it.

I don't think its a little loco, looks more like part of a crane but at that angle its difficult to tell.

I believe it to be part of a giant stirrer, there are only 2 wheels and travels round the top of the concrete in a big circle on a metal rail.

Correct.

It's the outer support for the slurry scraper arm that sits over the concrete tank - Stirs and levels the contents of the slurry tank/pit
