This was something I had spied on Google Maps whilst planning mine and Flub's roadtrip - and jotted it down as a backup explore incase the planned activities in Stoke didn't go to plan - as it happened they really didn't go to plan so all plans were thrown out the window and we found ourselves in this ********.
The chavs have clearly made their mark on it, the upstairs offices are wrecked and there is evidence of long-departed squatters/drug use in an upstairs store room, but the ground floor space itself is actually quite a nice space to take photos in.
I can't find any history at all about the site, the only reference to Thomas Brian I can find relats to the pottery company established in 1880 and presumably this was their wholesale depot/factory shop.
Only a few remnants of the past remain...
Thanks for looking, more photos if you can stand it here http://www.flickr.com/photos/mookie427/sets/72157627854347962/
