Titterstone Clee (Shropshire)

A long way up a hill, and an even longer way from Norfolk is Titterstone Clee! I visited the site with some friends and thought to take some pics of the remaining quarry buildings that litter the upper part of the hill. Nothing truly outstanding up there and unfortunately missed out on the radio station buildings on the summit but the view across the Shropshire countryside was awsome.

Nothing wrong with quarry buildings. . Very nice pics as well.

I'm not that far away. Will definitely pay a visit now.

There's supposed to be some aircraft wrecks up there as well.

the forth one reminds me of model trains in museums, the countryside looks like that. Either that or I'm weird and reasonably inexperienced in sights, the latter being more likely.

Didn't really have time to explore the whole area as I would have liked to so missed out on that railway you mention, might have the oportunity to get back there some day so will have another look at the maps and see what else there is to discover up there!

On the lead of some nice derelict farmhouses while I'm in the midlands so watch this space!!
