1. The History
These pair are to be found in the highland suburb of Bukit Tunku area to the west of Kuala Lumpur. It is a very up-market park of KL with many multi-million-ringgit condos and mansions. As with these type of places I can find absolutely zero history.

2. The Explore
Was looking for a particular old abandoned mansion. I knew it was in the area but the Google Maps of here are a bit sketchy so there was nothing more for it than to get out there and look. The weather was poor and in the end failed to find my quarry but found these two places, so my time was not completely wasted.

3. The Pictures
This was to be my first explore in the area. An old condo with what must be one of the finest views in KL! How it came to be abandoned is a mystery although probably deceased parents with no children to leave it to is a likely explanation. Having taken a few externals I headed in but immediately heard the sound of a radio. I peered round the door and saw some boots so made my exit! Looks like this place had acquired a new resident so I moved on.

On a clear day, that’s some view:

Just up the road around the corner was another abandoned condo which, although stripped bare, had some stylish features and some nice nature:

A nice covered walkway to the out-buildings:

Nothing mind-blowing but a nice wander for 20-or-so minutes.

Loving the stairs & the external walkway, there's some proper thought about architecture going on!

Cheers mate. Not much of a scene out there so you litteraly have to get out there see what's about. Few more reports to come. Bottled the two big sites in KL cos I was solo.

I just like the staircase but it looks like there are holes on the treads where there used to be supports for a banister, maybe a tubular one but there's so much muck around it, hard to tell. I like the idea of the covered walkway. Nice find - is there more of that ilk?

Cheers Hugh. It was a weird place. Sumptuous mansions next door to derelicts. Three more to come in the next report including one that didn't get past the construction phase
