Unnamed, unlocated. Power, water, heating all on. If you do know where this is, or the name of the hospital (current or former) let's see if you can not spoil it, and keep it to yourself, eh? :)

I hope I can trust you lot!

"Ladies and Gentlemen! Please take your seats, the show is about to begin!"

This Urbex lark isn't all serious. Over the 3-or-so visits I've had here, I've had my fair share of laughs...

"Beam me up"

The theater is definitely the highlight. With it's working lights and control panel, it is photogenic and a total blast!

"The stunning control panel with working lighting and timers"

And Brad shows us what the world looked like on his trip to Australia...

"The flipside!"

And a final overview of the theater from the monitoring room next door; It almost looks ready to go!

"Almost ready to roll!"

Moving out of the theater and into the pre-theater room, I spotted this little gem...

"You'll be out in no time!"

As we moved through the building, which has live in security and regular full building patrols, we heard movement. Darting into a side room, which turned out to be smaller than was ideal, we hid. Biding our time...

Returning at a later date, we headed past the bits we knew. Past the theaters and wards. Eventually, we stumbled on something stunning...

"x-ray machine"

Next door, another piece of expensive looking equipment

"Another room, another scanner"

Moving swiftly to the next room, we found what I am told is a very new digital x-ray machine...

"Whats the waiting list for a ride on one of these?"

Bed, control desk and all!

"Behind the control desk"

A stunning location, with stunning features. No external shots of this place, and no history ( at this stage) I'm afraid - It would be too easily identifiable. :)

Creepy!!
Fantastic explore mate. One's like this don't come up very often at all, you must have done your homework to time it this well.

Do you have the corresponding pic for your 'beam me up' pic?:p

Thank's for the correction! The hospital was NHS and cost a phenomenal amount of money. It was opened within the last 10 years, and closed within the last 5. It seems that there was not demand for a new hosp. where this one was opened. Pathetic, isn't it? £89,000,000 spunked down the drain!

Completely nuts.

Still, the whole health service will be privatised soon anyway.

No mate, and that pic is from a long time ago now, early summer I think...

Good report. You do know that security will now tighten up as the guards look at this site. I know at Fairmile they used to comment on the photo's posted. Well impressed though.:)

Nightcrawler:
That's as maybe. However, that is one of the reasons it's not named; the exact security firm/guards would have to be browsing to see it... They can't just search for "******************* Hospital"

I thought I recognised it but the opening/closure dates threw me off a little, great report:)

Would agree you've done a pretty good job of keeping this site quiet. Great post, sure this will get out soon though .

Hope it gets sensitively documented before the tourist season starts.

That's not an MRI scanner.
It does look like a *very* new digital X-ray suite though.

I wonder if this hospital hasn't opened yet?

my vote goes to the X-ray idea aswell... i had a close encounter with one at the weekend with a suspected spinal and neck damage after an accident on a beach... got a helicopter ride aswell!

nice to see the place isnt chaved up!

I dont think this one will be a tourist trap like others have been, its a bit of an epic to get into ;)
