Valleyfield Southern Scotland early 2010

Shatters and I stumbled upon this place whilst in the area looking at Castles and after a visit to Wanlockhead (very much reccommended if you're in the area)
After a bit of research it appears that this place was perhaps a victim of the motorway. We couldn't find many details about it online but there's a little here if anyone's interested Project 7...pdf and here valleyfie...rtf

I totally agree. Really love all those delightful wood, brick and stone textures. Fab pics, Lizzibear.

I'm in Valleyfield and walked around the woods today but only found the ruins of the old mansions garden walls.

Worth a shot I suppose.

Hi, we may have got the name of this place wrong, it's very easy to see both from the motorway and the road. If you get your post count up you can PM me and we can see if we're talking about the same area!
