i was going to do the whole of this post in local dirlect... or Block Countray speke but realised only Abandond - Angel and TrankKmasT would understand it. so the alpabet and phonetics of this area are best left alone for the time being.
so without further ado, in the middle of the night, with just a small digi camera here is the chance find of the old BR signal and telegragh cabin in Walsall.
from what ive learnt this single story flat roofed brick building was built after the war on a bomb damaged site to house the men and equipment of the electrification and re-signalling programme that toook place in the north Birmingham area in 1960.
it closed in 1980 and the staff moved into the bigger 'old carrige shed' down the road at Pleck and has been derelict ever since. youths have got in and trashed the place and there were signs of it been inhabited by vagrants at some point.
not brilliant pics but worth recording. basic with lots of small rooms hope someone likes it
