FIRST LET ME SAY SORRY FOR THE AMOUNT OF PICS, THIS REPORT IS JUST COPIED AND PASTED FROM 28DL AND IT WAS BEFORE I FOUND OUT HOW TO GET ALBUMS ON PHOTOBUCKET, SO TO LINK TO THE ALBUM WOULD ALSO LINK TO 100 OR SO PICS NOT RELEVENT, SO I CAN'T JUST LINK TO AN ALBUM!
This is my first report, and indeed my first explore ever. After reading about 'The Zone' paint balling it seemed like a good place to start with urbex and its only down the road from me, so me and a mate grabbed our cameras and headed off.
Before we went there, we went to Pelaw Metro station and spotted what looked like a burned out house over the road, so hopped the small fence and went for a look. When we got there we found that door was totally closed, and the only way to get in would have been to force entry, which neither of us were willing to do (for all we know the whole place could fall down!)
After a few pics of the outside of the place (its just opposite Pelaw Metro just past Aldi if anyone more adventurous wants to take a look).
On the way to 'The Zone' we popped into an unused train tunner for a few pictures, which I might aswell include here.
Anyway, using a printout of Flash Earth we headed off to The Zone paintballing site.
When we got there we were surprised how easy it was to get in, and how big the site was, given that it was our first go at this.
Theres not alot to say that hasn't already been said in the aforementioned thread, so I'll just post the pics. The last building (the one that looks like a small church tower thing) was the only one we didnt get to, as just as we were walking out of one of the buildings, we spotted two guys wearing red jumpers and what looked like body armor, so we bolted and sat outside the site to see if they would leave. Don't know if they were polce or the security (I got a picture of them as they were looking round the site) from the landfill site right next to 'The Zone', but once we were sittin outside the side they took a good look at us and after sitting for 15 mins we decided to head off
Anyway, heres pics of both sites visited, starting with that small house I mentioned.
Heres the pics from the Colliry its self.
All comments and feedback welcome, good or bad
