Adjacent to another place of interest and if you are hoping for something epic then more right along to a different post.

The gable end of the house forms part of the boundary wall with the place I'd really gone to visit. A simple stone stile is built into the wall to get between the properties.

There is a small compound with this house and the other two buildings and on checking maps and census info they all three belonged to a weaver. The house at one time had two adults and at least six children living in it. One of the sons was also listed as a weaver at one point.

The other buildings are probably a weaving shed and a store.

It's not clear exactly when the place became derelict but one of the daughters was still there in 1911

(put in misc due to the last couple of photos, mods feel free to move to residential if it would be better there)

Some nice pictures bud - sadly ruined by the over the top watermark in my honest opinion.
shame

Again, thanks for taking the time to comment.

Feel free to ignore any future post started by me as it will likely contain watermarked, generally flat, images. You will be far happier looking at the eye-wateringly bad HDR imagery you crave and which will remain available elsewhere.

There's no need for that tbh, pointlessly passive aggressive rudeness won't make you any friends and isn't welcome here.

Thats fair enough my friend - all i will say is - if you put pictures or videos up you have to be prepared to take criticism as well as praise.
Your pictures are good but ruined by the watermark in my honest opinion.
I personally wont comment on any more of your posts as i am not here to upset you , it just a observation.

Tazong made a fair point. You do go to some interesting places and take great pix. It just makes it frustrating with a watermark that then is a big distraction. It's like making a nice painting then slashing the canvas.

Public apology. It wasn't "fair enough". My response was unreasonable.

No need to apologise at all - nothing wrong with a little passion . My comments were meant in a positive way and i was trying to be constructive but sometimes written text can be seen in a different light - just a difference of opinion - It would be a very sad world if we all saw things the same way.
Take it easy bud - keep snapping and keep smiling
:)
