Visited with a handful of others

The Guard didn't want to let us in. Nor would he tell us if there were ghosts in there. No, we weren't allowed to climb on the digger, neither were we allowed to have a go on it. Shame really

Those are fascinating photos!

I was born in this hospital, and although I don't live in the area anymore I knew that had put a new building on the site. Didn't realise some of the old buildings were still there, though.

Although it was a grim old place, it is still sad to see places demolished. I remember a few appointments there in my youth, and visiting relatives etc.

I was born there too,the maternity is still there.

The rest is being demolished.

It's a good little place, shame it is a big pile of rubble now (from what I hear)
