West Park Epsom Oct 2009

I know West Park has been well and truly done in the last few months but as it was probably my last visit I thought I would put up some pictures.

I cannot believe how wide open it is at present, the downside of this being it is quickly getting trashed. The demo guys are getting geared up to go to work on it soon so it wont be around much longer anyway.

I'm glad I made the effort to get down there again as I got to see a lot that I hadn't seen before, I was suprised to see that the lights were on in one of the wards.

Finally made it to the morgue and the dentist's but unfortunatly the chair has gone.

think I'll echo what someone else posted in an older West Park thread, that there will be a gaping hole left in the UK asylum scene when West Park goes

I bumped into two other groups also, and saw another group on the way in as I was coming out, it was very busy!

any idea when the demo starts? would they start during winter?

also, cheeky request, anyone wanna pm me whereabout the good places are in there so i dont spend hours wandering around aimlessly.

I'd say demo is starting in the very very near future judging by all the new markings going up on the walls and the huge skips outside full of building interior (although we couldnt find which room it had been stripped from)

You know,I have been wandering aimlessly for most of my life..sometimes I even think that one day maturity will actually kick in!Go wander and you`ll find things are more fun that way.

I've never been or seen pics of this before, but it looks totally amazing, great pics too.

SUCH a shame about the demo, and pity it's so far away from me...gutted i'll never see it

Loads of the room have electricity 'availible', you just need to find the main switch box and turn it on Someonei know spent ages finding them and has been slowly turning them on more and more
