Had a very enjoyable trip to West Park today (despite having to be up at 5.30am) with ukmayhem and five others (I forget all your names as I wasn't paying much attention that early in the morning but you were all sound
). Day was going well, sat upstairs in Huxley I think having a break, when we heard an alarm go off somewhere in the live section and went on and on and on...ok we thought so we left, passing 3 little scrotes obviously up to no good on the way down, and as luck would have it the exact time we get to the only door facing the live section a police car drives past....
Moving quickly over the other side of the site we carry on and get more of it done including the motuary where we called it a day, piling through the fence right in front of some random guy walking along....if we thought it couldn't get any weirder we were wrong...walking down the road to the car park in the woods a police off roader tears past us, followed by a police car which slows right down almost to a stop as it passes us, rozzers inside obviously knew where we'd been, they accelerated away but turned into the car park...**** we thought to ourselves...getting to the car park we find the cop car empty and the officer elsewhere, we go to the cars and stand around having a good chat and the police car leaves....minutes later a man wearing nothing but a pair of womens underwear and a red lacey vest comes running out the woods, literally dives straight into his car and speeds out the car park
to say it was a weird experience was an understatement!
The other WTF moment came when discovering someone had tried to wire up an old record deck to a light switch fitting in the one ward that still has power
Anyway enough of the anecdotes, here are a few pictures, some of these have been tweaked a little but most are straight off the camera
One of my friends also there today had a chat with one of the guards who told him demolition is due to start in mid October, there's about 3 weeks left guys
