West Penine Way Hotel, Highrise

Visted the day before demolistion started, I wasnt overly joyed by the place, but certain glad that I checked it out.

The roof looked amazing and I headed right for it, but would you believe that when I got up there is was hammering it down.

Enjoyed the explore and entrance was easy enough.

It was belting it down, 15 floors up, it was very windy too

love that last shot with the rain on the lense. makes for a very atmosperic picture. like it a lot.

the place looks very trashed and empty lol. do you have any ideas on when it closed? or what they're planning to do with the place?

the place had/has been closed for about 5yrs, however, the council kept it very secure with a RedCare alarm, is wasnt until a few days before demolition that the removed the alarm and cut the power.
