visited with andre and marcus, two days in row, still lot to see DD
As it was our first visit to WP, we made only a quick run thru whole hospital, we wanted to see as much as possible, (there's not a lot of light in december)
Any way, very nice two days, easy to explore, enjoy photos

Wow. Is it me, or is there something so alluring about a set of external stairs?

I saw some of these on Deviantart, superb! The place looks a lot more atmospheric in the cold and wet.

By any chance in pic 9, is that asbestos stuff hanging down from the ceiling? I'll need to know for future because I saw some at the top of the Grain Silo at Water Eaton (Oxford) and it looked exactly like that. It was hanging down from a pipeline.

Err no... that would be gloss paint or wall paper peeling off, as it has a habit of doing when it gets damp.

i agree the pic is stunning i went there not so long ago for a couple of hours but barely got round a quarter of the place before it got to dark (stupidly forgot the torches) hopefully next visit i might be able to find that building. has any one actually managed to find the padded cells and could give me a ruff idea on where about in that huge complex it would be, would be much appreciated.
