In heavily overgrown compound but in siter of local houses. Has some unusual BT equipment and the BT 200 box and has written paperwork from Bucks fire brigade inside, which I think the post might have been used for disaster planning at some time, however im sure someone will correct this or confirm !and if you know what vintage the Bt equipment is and why do let me know. Master post . If visiting take only pictures:lol:

The BT equipment is the WB1400 Warning Receiver, don't often see them in posts these days. This would sound the attack warning and all clear for the post crew to act upon.

All posts were fitted with them.

They would receive the attack warning from one of these:

Which were located in all Major Police Stations.

For more info on ROC Communications i suggest you visit www.ringbell.co.uk/ukwmo :)

The Fire Brigade link may be that they have used it for rescue training in a smoke filled confined space, they do this localy in one post.

All too often though, it's the local neds that turn the posts into a smoke filled confined space. :(
