I have wanted to revisit this place for a while with my wide angle lens, and recently the opportunity arose. I never cease to be impressed with the size of these huge towers.
For those who haven’t been, nothing will prepare you for their colossal size The second visit was still as awe inspiring as the first visit. The original 2 towers have had all the internal stripped but the latter 3 still have the internals.

The coal fired power station was built in the 1950s in two phases. The first 2 towers closed in 1995, and the last 3 closing in 1999. The buildings have been demolished, and only the cooling towers still stand. The site is earmarked for a residential development, or a new gas power station.
