I used to sometimes deliver to and pick up goods at various small weaving and knitting factories in the borders region. My age makes me forget their names but that does look familiar. As has been said they were handy places of employment for locals and were pleasant places to visit - and be chatted up by the women!Were there any signs of trade catalogues inside? The majority of stuff I handled was knitwear because big jazzy thick jumpers became a 'thing' back in the 80s and 90s.Sad to see the industries go but hopefully that lovely building can be saved.
