this site provided power to the cold roling mills for the copper smelting works the site is a grade 2 listed building dating from the 1910 and has the only Musgrave Uniflow Steam engine in wales
we aslo did the main office and the canteen witch sadly have been set fire to
the engine before it got trashed

that old shot of the engine is amazing compaired to how it looks now amazing to beleve it was in use form 1910 when it was installed right up to 84 when the mill closed down never converted to electric power. Although the engine is impressive the best bit is the rope run with all the turing ropes still hanging there slowly rotting.
 
Great report. Whilst I am not normally a big fan of graffiti, that stuff in picture 10 is astonishing. I also like the last one, it looks like there has been an earthquake.
