I was on route to another location, when this place caught my eye. I noticed it was for auction so I thought I would scope it out on my return journey. Easy access on site and into the building. So I decided to return and check it out.
It is possibly already sold as I noticed a digger has moved over the last few days also there was a chicken in the yard which has now gone.
I have searched online for history but had no luck with google. The only results are about the property being for sale. So this is all the info I have found.

The property is the site of the former maltings and contains some of the original mill buildings, which date back to 1822. A number of the buildings have been demolished and cleared to enable development of the site.

Nice pictures. The huge beams in these old buildings are really impressive, & it seems quite solid. I hope the developer will do a conversion instead of a teardown. Would be a shame to lose these.

I think planning involves keeping the main building so hopefully the beams will remain. It be nice to keep the roof visible inside too, not sure if that could happen tho. I will pay a return visit when works complete to see how it's turned out.

i took some wicked shoots in here and shame them are now building houses on the site
Damn I thought I was the first!! It be good to see ya pics are you local? . Like I said I think the remaining buildings are staying. Also do you know of any history of the Site?
