Hi all. First picture thread from me so be gentle!

Took the D50 and 10-20mm out with a mate who has similar kit to a disused factory. Hope you like the shots. :

Used to make Cellophane. That should give you and idea of where this place is

Oh indeed Foxylady. This was infact my first proper exploration, and when you walk around this place it's hard not to be utterly overwhelmed by the scale of it all.

Nice one, being a chef i've used probably miles of the stuff, interesting to see where its made. is that your car parked in the warehouse? :lol:

lol, no. my friend and I got there by train. I was very supprised to learn when I was there that Cellophane's core ingredient is infact trees! People commonly get it confused with polyethylene. The difference being that Cellophane has no elastic memory, and so will stay deformed when bent, and is also completely bio degradable!

Which also gives it the ability to make you swear a lot when trying to use it! :mrgreen:
