went here to satisfy Phantom Explorer's need for an asylum, Dub, shepy, geordie, david182, merc1892 and sandman duly joined us for an early morning start 
After some smooth talking by our guide, we were in to St Mary's despite the rain!!
We left this place to grow old gracefully and after a quick pit stop, headed for Cherry Knowle.
I love the contrast between these places, St Mary's is so quiet and peaceful, set in its own grounds with trees and broken down gazebo's whereas Cherry Knowles is never still, even standing in the quiet you can hear something happening, the place groans and creaks with the wind like its lamenting the state that it's in.
Or maybe thats just me?
