Whole lot of derpyness i dropped in when passing on a recent stint tup north. Its a wreck but still few decent shots to be had.
There has been many prev reports of this place and the slow demise is easy to see.

Bristol Spinning Mill was erected in 1885 by Roberts, Dobson and Company. In 1895 it became the property of William Roberts and was used to supply yarn to Victoria Mill until 1905.

In 1921 the mill was taken over by Wright and Jobson, who built the large extension on the NW end of the mill, re-equipping it with mules still in use until the mill closed in 1998 and the machinery was removed. The machine layouts are held in the National archives of Scotland, West Register House.

Several attempts have been made to sell the mill but as yet these have all failed.

That will do from here, thanks for looking

Nice one, hasn’t changed in 15 years! I’ll bet the access is even the same, too…

fine pictures, thanks, especially the pile of stones against the brick wall. Lovely contrast of size, texture, and colour.
Looks as if it was once a very fine building
