hello maden 2,

i'm from bishopbriggs and i would like to check out the buchley site.

i'm new to this web site and i'm not sure what i can ask or what you can tell me?

i think it's somewhere on the back road from bishopbriggs sports centre to the dump?

am i warm?

i remember about 3 years ago when the forth and clyde canal was being dredged near this site and the workmen s**t themselves when a couple of artillery shells were scooped up in the digger's bucket.
my old street was evacuted whilst the bomb disposal done their stuff.
i'm guessing the ammo was probably moved along the canal to that point, then loaded onto trucks or something for the 2 min journey up the hill.

Interesting site, m_2. Love the stanton shelter...still camouflaged, but with moss instead of earth!
