Really nice work here beetle! Totally agree with you taking it to the museum! Now countless numbers of people can enjoy it. I take stuff all the time for preservation and have spent hours and hours restoring items. With permission btw... If people don't then we will have no heritage left! Top work dude

good work mate....if it was me tho i would of kepted it just between those that went in the tomb...then least u can visit back each time and things will always be the same....now things will never be the same since 300bc lol

That's a great find. I've done a bit of archaeology in the past and it's obvious from your photos that the place had already been visited in the past and anything of value (historic or monetary) has been removed. If you'd dug the pot up then you would have destroyed the timeline but just taking it from an already disturbed site and handing it in to the museum is ok in my book.
