Visited with Bryag, a sweet wee post - one of the great things about living up here is the fact that some sites are pretty untouched - apart from a visit from Subbrit in 2003, no-one had been in here since it closed until us

Re-visited this again today, with Bryag and Bax__...

We had something else planned but some rather serious snow foiled our plans

We were rather pissed-off to find that the post has had a lot of the goodies stolen

Randomly, as discovered by Bryag whoever stole the T/T and timer etc. had replaced 'em with this

Now I've seen a lot of rabbits in Posts, but they were always dead.....

Also, whoever was in last shut the poor wee fella in the cupboard, nothing but Glitto to survive on

So we did our good deed for the day

Yes, the live bunny was indeed a unique find. It is sad though that some ignorant tosser has offed the teletalk, and other goodies. They even removed the light timer!

I will continue to visit these places, but I will not be posting any pics if it means that items will get knicked. I can understand the teletalk as for some bizzarre reason they fetch decent money on ebay, but the light timer???? That leads me to believe it is not just an opportunistic thief

At least we were able to empty the sump, and liberate "Bugs" from his concrete tomb

I wonder where people could go to find out the current state of ROC posts and see if they're worth looting.
Excellent rabbit-saving skills though! Must have got in there pretty recently.

It was inside the cupboard, and it was shut! It realy didn't look like anyone had been down recently. (weeks rather than days I would say.)

We hope the rabbit will learn from it's experience and not become just another ROC statistic

Its shocking that the teletalk and timer have been pinched. Still can't see why they are valuable(unless under the blue & yellow paint lies gold!!!). What kind of sick MoFo would take a rabbit down there and lock it in the cupboard:wacko:!!! Thank you for rescueing the poor little fella :notworthy:.. Was it dificult to catch? That Pink decor reminds me of the girls toilet in junior school:goofy:.

Having found no less than 6 dead rabbits in an earlier post, one can only assume that "Bugs" made his/her own way in. The theft of the teletalk is a side issue. Fortunately, as far as we are aware, "Bugs" is now with his family and friends. Hopefully he will not venture down that concrete warren again

No, poor little blighter was terrified! I picked him up by the ears. He was none too chuffed at the time, but his liberation was paramount

Yeah ive noticed on some forums now theyre treating the word teletalk like a swear word so it gets filtered out to prevent search engines logging the page, but in all honesty you dont know who is who on a forum, anyone can register with any intent
