Sorry that there has hardly been any activity on my account lately. There is just not much worth looking out for in my local area with housing developments on every derelict place you can name.
This was one hell of a walk from the main road and took a lot of work to get to. With that being said here is Harlestone Supplies, of which popped up on my radar when browsing about a week ago.
History: Harlestone Supplies, based in the heart of Harlestone Firs, opened over 35 years ago as Wooden Supplies Ltd. The company would serve both retail and trade customers, specialising in the supply and manufacture of fencing, decking, and landscaping products. This would include a premium range of softwood and hardwood gates and bespoke joinery products.
However according to a trusted source said that "It closed in 2022 due to supplies of wood not being able to come fron Russia and Ukraine."
Since then nearly 2,000 trees were cut down at Harlestone Firs to make way for a relief road and 3,000 houses.
