I don't like to 'revive' old threads. However, I think this story needs closure.

RIP Hanna Oleksiyivna.
14.10.1932 – 10.09.2024

Unfortunately age has caught up with this amazing lady who welcomed myself and others into her home in the Chernobyl exclusion zone deep in Ukraine. She passed away on Tuesday, peacefully in her sleep at home at the age of 92. Just as she’d have wanted.

I know my memories of my time with her will stay with me forever. I hope by publishing them online, that the will be around for a lot longer.
