The Harold Wood Long Term Conditions Centre, a once-vital healthcare facility, is now slated for demolition, marking the end of an era for the community it served. Located in the London Borough of Havering, the center was initially designed to provide specialized care and support for patients with chronic conditions, offering a range of services from physiotherapy to mental health support. However, as the healthcare landscape evolves and new developments take shape, the building has become outdated and no longer meets the demands of modern healthcare. Its closure and imminent demolition are part of a broader redevelopment plan aimed at revitalizing the area and improving local services, though many residents will undoubtedly feel the loss of a resource that once played a key role in their health and well-being.

it would be helpful to have some photos ? if it is where I think it is, it's somewhere on the site of, or at the back of, the old Harold Wood Hospital (where my daughter was born)
The HWH site is now turned over to exclusive housed and flats.
A tone time, the London Borough of Havering had 5 hospitals (including HW) - it now has just one.
don't get me started on the bed loss..
