Hi members , a cordial greeting to all. Me brian-leslie born Edmonton Green 1950 so I'm a bit derelict myself.
The reason I have come on here was I typed in: Roydon Essex where are the military sites and I see a post for an old site in Roydon.
I'd be interested if any one knows if there was any radar installations or mobile radar vehicle deployed there and was they linked to the AA guns.
There is also another twist to this, my aunt used to live in Roydon Village, one door away from the pub opposite Roydon Church. My mother in law had family in Old House Lane. The old knowledge needs to be recorded or its lost forever. Kind regards to all.
