I bet it was! I can imagine you have a story or two about the place. Must be sad to see it in such a state. Have you been back to explore the old place?

No, I was at RAF Henlow in Bedfordshire in 1950. Was admitted to Nocton Hall for a medical procedure. As it was 70 years ago I figure it's probably ok now!
