This is one of my favourite threads, really good photos and a very interesting building.

Could not believe the mould on the floor in screen four, I have never seen anything like that.

Speed and Rooks did it recently, they only got into Screen 4 and the joint projection room for Screens 2 & 3 though.

Screen 4 is now under about a foot of water and the mould situation has become a lot worse. There's still a shop in the lobby.

I think you are right when you said that Screen 4 is prob why it closed.

In the Odeon in Exeter there are only a few screens, but all in good condition, but a new modern Vue nearby.

I visiting Portsmouth in a few weeks, and I want to visit the cinema.

From what i have been told screen one is now the storeroom for the shop!

Excellent place!! The pics of the inside of the tower are amazing.

Were those speakers intact?
