Went on a tromp around Maidenhead today with a couple of others, 3 successes and 3 fails meant an eventful day - we were passing this so gave it a look. I was considering not bothering with a report but it has a couple of interesting things inside to take a look at.
Can't find a jot of info about it, which isn't surprising. All I can gather is it used to do most of the recycling for the paper mill nearby but closed a few years back.
It was nice and relaxed inside although the security wasps made themselves known having made a nest inside one of the pits, with one of the flying nasties deciding it didn't like our non-member friend! Cue much swearing and hopping about madly.
Hope a big pano is OK?
