So here goes on my backlog! After the "Out to Sea" report, Marlon, Mookster and myself visited a site which Marlon and me had been to before; you will find my April 2015 report on here!

This old Steel Works closed in 2012 and was 3 miles away as the crow flies from the Battery we visited in the Thames Estuary....But 36 miles by road....

Still in my 1983 Triumph Acclaim (weekend car) we drove to Sheerness in Kent and made it inside. It was clear security was active because they were walking around inside, driving cars inside and even shining torches into our faces (though not noticing us!). You never do quite get used to the amount of ore dust in an old steelworks!

Just a mini photo report as I did this in 2015!

Big up the British Leyland crate  Secca must have got wayyy amped here, I've heard them from time-to-time, but barely seen them on any of my past visits. Used to be a bit of plant machinery about though.

They were on it big time when we went. They knew we were in there, but by some miracle they didn't catch us when one of them did a thorough search of the building we were in. How we didn't get caught I have no idea.

I'm loving seeing all of your back log of reports! That's a great set of images, love the light in number 9, really stunning. Nice work for not getting caught - gotta love a game of cat and mouse every now and then!

This place is always photogenic, plenty opportunity to be creative with your photography. My favourite is picture 9, I like how the light shines in.
