The Bury, Bedford, 30th May, 2017

So our reign of bad luck continues! We did however stop off to visit this place to see what was left... not much apparently! The little granny annex was pretty much completely destroyed but I loved the wallpaper that was left and you could tell this was once someone's pride and joy.

I'm sure you are aware of the history of this place, I was pretty surprised it is still standing after applications to demolish and rebuild. Anyway, on with the photos...

I did this report here a year back.
Was lots of stuff in annex & the barn was completely open then, but no access to house!
It will be a shame if it is demolished, but as its in the middle of a new housing estate it may well happen!

Surprisingly this house is still on the new build estate, they incorporated it into the the estate and the bury is the top end of the houses in the estate

yes I did some work on the estate when they were building round it, I guess its listed.
Not sure if they have actually done anything with teh house itself?

The buildings grade ii listed as far ive seen theyve only refurbished the roof
