after spending absolutely ages trying to find this place as I was picking up a tractor that my manager had brought off them to restore, I was given permission to go around the old field and take pictures , excuse the quality as I only had my sony 5 megapixel camera phone

excellent stuff -

especially nice to see a John Deere as well as the usual TE20s etc

I can't be the only person here who has to sit on a few of any derelict vehicles I find?

Brilliant! This is the kinda thing me and Sausage dream of finding. Old knackered tractors are just the best man. Cheers!

Think its the 10th photo down ???
That looks like an old Russian / Soviet 'Zetor' four wheel drive ..really good old tractors built to take the kind of abuse they would have received on the giant cooperative farms out on the Steppes or deep in the arctic wastes of Siberia ..........drove one fer a bit back in the late 70s.....bomb proof they was !:)...........Chruist knows if spares are still available for them though!

rather sad sight

Everyone loves a vehicle graveyard but it is quite sad some of those lovely vintage ones can't have been restored. There are some real gems!

Smills.

Sorry to bump up this thread but I haven't seen it before (I was off the forum for a few months)...and, no prizes for guessing what I want to ask! Roughly which area will do or by pm, if poss!
A gem of a find, Andymacg...some real beauts there. :)
