Your definition of 'Mint' seems to be at variance with the OED All the tinwork and part of the petrol tank has mostly corroded away, the saddle and bum pad have fallen off with the rusted pannier racks and the 'new' looking tyres will be as hard as nails. Sadly the engine and gearbox will be completely encased in the solid remains of dead marine life, almost like a 'block of concrete'. This is one of the main reasons why the restoration of equipment etc, recovered from wartime wrecks sunk in the deep ocean, is so problematic. Been there, done that, and it is a painfully long and involved process!
