Site has been cleared of vegitation and the hatch is free to open. Ladder looks good and shaft looks safe and clean.

On a small side road I pass regularly; nothing has changed; been the same for about eight months.

I'd like to see how much vegetation has been cleared. And one or two photos from the side road that you pass regularly. Even a photo from your phone would do. Just sayin......

I am disabled so I can't climb down ladders to get photos for you - sorry about that. I posted this as a heads up for folks to visit if they want.... wasn't expecting to have my head shot off - especially by admin.

Thanks for the heads up but some pics would be helpful as HJ said even just a couple of phone snaps of the roadside site.

Generally you'll find that users don't tend to just post a location without a report.
Personally, unless it's a very well known site I never give a location or even the real name of the place.
Given that this site is fairly well known in that area I'd have thought that no harm done.

I'd go and look but it's a long way from me and Boja says I can't play out.

My apologies to you. I didn't know you had a disability but you can stand and lean over with a camera or a phone in your hand. I didn't mean that you should clamber down ladders. I have a disability but I'm still able to take photos.

Don't think it would be a good idea fora disabled person to lean over. Fair play for having a go. I have a disability that makes standing and balancing a challenge, wouldn't risk it myself, Agreed that roadside shots would be possible but they'd make a " poor " report! Being a couple of weeks short of 90 years of age I'm very conscious that one slip and a broken hip could be a free ticket to the promised land!

This seems a good opportunity to wish every one who enjoys the forum a Happy New Year.
